Title composns. contain (a) an oil sol, sulphonate of a metal chosen from Mo, V, Fe, B, Ba, Be, Sn, Ag, Ti, Cu, Mg &/or Na and (b) an oil sol. amine cpd. chosen from amines, amine sulphonates, amine salts of fatty acids, ammonium sulphonates or the reaction prod. of amines with alkyl succinic acid anhydrides. Th prepns. are used as standards for spectro-graphic equipment and as additives to propellants and lubricating oils. They have no smell or stability problems. |
