PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an gene expression vector in plants belonging to the families Leguminosae, Solanaceae and Iridaceae (plant) which expresses an extraneous gene readily and improves gene recombinant technique by including a cDNA against clover vein-etiolating virus genome. SOLUTION: This gene expression vector is obtained by including a cDNA against clover vein-etiolating virus genome as the constituent element. Further, it is favorable to install a site for integrating a gene expressed in plants into a vector in the domain of the above cDNA and a promoter domain in the upper stream of the cDNA, compose a gene expression vector as a cyclic DNA, integrate an extraneous gene, which is to be introduced into plants, into the cDNA, prepare a bacteriogenous host by transforming with the gene expression vector and produce transformed plants by introducing the extraneous gene. |
