<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for exhaust gas and an exhaust gas treatment apparatus which can conveniently and surely remove toxic substances. SOLUTION: In this apparatus, a wire material 2 consisting of a ceramic or carbon is formed into a mesh to constitute a filter B for exhaust gas and the filter B for exhaust gas is arranged in the cylinder of a chimney 1 so as to be freely elevated and lowered. In addition, the wire materials 2 constituting the filter B for exhaust gas are arranged in a plurality of steps at established intervals and a number of filter media are stored in spaces formed among the wire materials 2.</p> |
