PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily and inexpensively produce fine particles of crude polyamide copolymer. SOLUTION: Laurolactam and one or two or more kinds of cyclic lactams of 6-8 carbon atoms are allowed to react with each other in a solvent of isoparaffin to give the objective fine particles of crude polyamide copolymer. In this polymerization, the weight ratio of the lactams to the isoparaffin is 1.5-2.5 times.
