<p>A clockwork escapement for inexpensive watches combines reliability with simple manufacture and assembly. The balance staff has a groove parallel to the centre line. The staff also carries a lever disc with a pin extending ahead of this groove. The disc is a stamping with two holes, shaped like two circular sectors with three radial spokes between them.</p> |
