<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner particle which can be used to print a toner image with a semi-mat or a mat finished surface by using polymer beads having specified melting point and a volume average particle diameter. SOLUTION: This toner particle contain a binder resin having the volume average particle size dvt and melting point TSMt and contain polymer beads which are introduced to the main body (bulk) of the toner particles. The polymer beads have the melting point TSPP ( deg.C) satisfying (i) TSMp >=TSMt +10 deg.C and the volume average particle size dvp satisfying (ii) 0.20<=dvp /dvt <=0.75. It is preferable that the polymer beads contain a polymer derived from crosslinkedα,β- ethylene type unsatd. monomers. For example, the polymer is selected from styrene, vinyltoluene, substd. vinyltoluene such as vinylbenzylchloride and its congeners, chlorostyrene, and alkylmethacrylate.</p> |
