PAPER FEEDING DEVICE AND PICTURE IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE PROVIDED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device capable of securely separating and feeding sheets one by one and a picture image formation device provided with the paper feeding device. SOLUTION: Sheets are separated and fed one by one from a sheet bundle DA loaded in a sheet loading means by a separation and feeding means provided with a paper feeding means 20 and a separation member 22 in pressure-contact with the paper feeding means 20. Moreover, a bumping member 30 is provided on the upstream side of a nip part N of the paper feeding means 20 and the separation member 22 to regulate a tip position of the sheet bundle DA which attempts to enter the nip part N due to self-weight by the bumping member 30. When paper feeding operation is started, the bumping member 30 is moved at a low speed in the vertical direction for the direction of paper feeding so that sheets of the sheet bundle DA enter the nip part N one by one.
