PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain contamination of a part to which power is fed caused by ink by providing a protruding portion protruding from a earring surace of the belt member around the whole circumference between an attraction generation region of a belt member and the power fed part. SOLUTION: A ribbed protruding portion 31A protruding from a carrying belt surface is provided across the whole circumference on both sides of a recording paper sheet non-suction region between a suction generation region of a central part of a belt member (carrying belt) 31 and power fed parts 36a', 36b' in the moving direction of the belt 31. The portion 31A is integrally formed with the belt 31 so as to protect the parts 36a', 36b' from being made dirty by ink erroneously flowing out in a suction generation region. The portion 31A is of rectangular shape in section and has at its surface a good water repelling property with the application of fluorine resin process to the surface thereof. The portion 31A may be of a semi-spherical shape, triangular shape or trapezoidal shape in section. The portion 31A may be formed out of continous porous body having an excellent ink absorption property.
