Continuous chipboard press system - has continuous hard steel band passing round press roller under the chips

The inner continuous steel band is a metal alloy with a Brinell Hardness of 300HB which passes round the press roller, and supports the compression forces exerted by external rollers acting on an outer continuous steel band to convert the chip feed into chipboard. This supports the compression forces, without the expense or complexity of fitting or shrinking a hard mantle on to the press roller, and to allow easy exchange on wear.
