The whole calcaneus wall, that is pathologically convex to outward, is removed beginning from calcanean tuber and ending at lateral edge of calcaneocuboid joint, eliminating in this way the cause of the peroneal tendons strangulation to lateral malleolus and preventing the lateral heel wall skin from permanent friction against shoe surface in walking.
