Rotary measurement head is brought into liquid and torque acting on measurement head is read out. It rotates with constant speed and torque is read out at least at two depths. Value of viscosity is computed numerically by obtained data. Invention makes it possible to test viscosity, for instance, of water glass while making glass containers with sufficient accuracy by relatively simple procedure.
