transport engineering; antitheft systems. SUBSTANCE: when car owner transmits inter locking code to control center, immobilizer interlocking the engine is activated by paging net. To unlock the engine, secret unlocking code is put into immobilizer control unit which is compared with identification code kept in storage and, if the codes are identical, immobilizer is deactivated. If necessary, interlocking and unlocking codes are changed and identification code is reprogrammed by concealed keyboard. Car owner has transponder card on which interlocking and unlocking codes are recorded. Identification code is kept in digital storage of card. To unlock the engine and automatically reprogram identification code in control unit storage, card is placed in zone to read identification code from card and enter the data into control unit. Interlock is removed without noticeable manipulation with keyboard. EFFECT: improved secrecy of antitheft system control and efficiency of protection. 4 cl, 1 dwg
