PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance an energy density and heavy load characteristics and to suppress deposition of metal lithium. SOLUTION: A solid electrolyte fuel cell comprises a band-like positive electrode 2, a band-like negative electrode 3 disposed opposite to the positive electrode 2, and a solid electrolyte layer 4 formed at either or both of surfaces of each of the positive electrode 2 and the negative electrode 3. The positive electrode 2 and the negative electrode 3 are laminated in such a manner as to face each other on sides having the solid electrolyte layer 4, and further, are wound in a longitudinal direction. The solid electrolyte layer 4 formed on the positive electrode 2 and the solid electrolyte layer 4 formed on the negative electrode 3 are integrated with each other, thereby forming a continuos layer. |
