PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescence element capable of suppressing generation of cross talk without efficiency and enhancing high temperature storage stability. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element is formed by stacking an anode layer 12, an inorganic compound-containing layer 14, an organic light emitting layer 16, and a cathode layer 18 in order on a transparent glass substrate 10, and an inorganic compound 14a is insularly scattered in the inorganic compound-containing layer 14. Therefore, the inorganic compound-containing layer has anisotropic conductivity having lower conductivity in the plane direction than that in the stacking direction.
