COMMUNICATION METHOD AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a high level telephone service to a PSTN-internet notification(PIN) service user. SOLUTION: An incoming side terminal switch(TS) 200 communicates a PSTN event to a service notification function(SNF) entity 204, and calls the end point of an IP base. The SNF entity 204 communicates with a PIN gateway 206 by using a PSTN domain protocol, and transfers information related with the PSTN event to the PIN gateway 206. The PIN gateway 206 transfers the information to a PIN server 208 by using a PIN protocol. The PIN server 208 obtains the IP addresses of proper PIN clients 210 and 212 by referring to a data base 220. Communication between the PIN server 208 and the PIN clients 210 and 212 is operated by using an IP protocol.
