PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clamp an optical fiber with respective optimal clamp loads during an forward movement and aθrotation, by interposing a compression spring in a fiber clamp mechanism, and adjusting pressurizing force by this compression spring to change the clamp pressurizing force. SOLUTION: A fiber clamp 3 that engages with a V groove 1 in a V groove table B to press an optical fiber 2 is held vertically movably in relation to a switching clamp A, and this fiber clamp 3 is pressed by a compression spring 4. The top end of the compression spring 4 is pressed by a magnetic metal weight 5. The magnetic metal weight 5 is held between a magnet 6 and a support member 7, vertically movably by 4 mm in a switching clamp A. The compression spring 4 is in a state that it is compressed by the weight of the magnetic metal weight 5, and becomes in a maximum compression state when the optical fiber is clamped. In this case, pressurizing force is adjusted by changing position of the magnet 6 and position of the support member 7. |
