PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly discriminate the failure in acceleration and steering sensors with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: By processes in steps 106 and 108, comparison upper and lower acceleration Gc and a comparison steering angelθc are set by deriving a frequency component near the lower resonance frequency of upper and lower acceleration G and a steering angleθbeing detected by acceleration and steering sensors, respectively. By the processes in steps 110 and 112, according to the fact where the comparison steering angleθdoes not change regardless of the large comparison upper/lower acceleration Gc, the failure in the steering sensor is discriminated. By the processes of steps 118 and 120, according to the fact where the comparison upper and lower acceleration Gc does not change regardless of the large comparison steering angleθc, the failure in the acceleration sensor is discriminated. |
