PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise emitted from a driver of a reluctance machine. SOLUTION: In a control system of a switching reluctance machine, are provided a reluctance machine having a rotor, a stator, and one or more phase- windings 16, a controller 50 for controlling the output of the reluctance machine, a pulse injecting means 18 for injecting diagnostic pulses into the one or more phase-windings 16 to sense the position of the rotor. The controller 50 determines the relative position of the rotor to the stator, based on the diagnostic effects of the diagnostic pulses and energizes the pulse injecting means 18 in a frequency variable way for making the sensed noise generated from a driver of the reluctance machine reduced. |
