PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solar cell module whose assembling operation is made easy, in which the amount of a resin can be reduced and which prevents a drop in a water- resistant property and a water-stopping property by a method wherein an outer frame is fitted to the outer circumference of a solar cell panel via a seal material and a part which stores the seal material is formed at the inside of the outer frame. SOLUTION: A light-receiving-face-side recessed part 24 and a resin-side recessed part 25 which are used to store a seal material 30 are formed respectively inside of the fitting part 22 of an outer frame 20 so as to face on the light-receiving-face-side and the rear side of a solar cell panel 10. In addition, a recessed part 26 which is used to store the seal material 30 is formed so as to face a rear-side edge 15 in the outer circumference of a translucent insulating board 12. Then, the end part of an insulating film 13, i.e., the end part of a metal film, is situated in an edge 15 on the rear side of the translucent insulating board 12. Thereby, when a fluid resin is used for the seal material 30, the excess seal material is stored in the light-receiving- face-side recessed part 24, the rear-side recessed part 25 and the recessed part 26, and the removal operation of the seal material which sticks out from a fitting part is not required. In addition, it is possible to surely prevent moisture from creeping.
