<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the casing of a ceiling embedded air conditioner which ensures the strength and also raises the accuracy, the safety, and the setup work efficiency. SOLUTION: In an air conditioner which comprises a base 4 being made in roughly quadrangular form and having a rise flange 4a at its peripheral edge, the first side plate 2 being made in roughly L shape and having attachment parts at both its ends and a flange 2a bent inward at its bottom edge, and the second side plate having likewise attachment parts on both its sides and a flange bent inward at its bottom edge, and in which the attachment part of the first side plate 2 and the attachment part of the second side plate are coupled with each other into roughly cylindrical form and it is screwed to the inside of the rise flange 4a and a bottom flange corresponding to the bottom of the base 4, on its inside, and likewise a roughly cylindrical heat insulating member 5 having an opening at the center are installed, the corner carved faces of the flange 2a of the first side plate 2 and the flange of the second side plate are made larger than the corner curved face of the rise flange 4a of the base 4.</p> |
