PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure for a reliable potentiometer wherein the static electricity charged on an operator can be released surely. SOLUTION: An insulating substrate 11 where a resistor 12 and a current collector 13 which extends along the resistor 12 with a specified interval from it are formed, an insulating frame 2 for holding the insulating substrate 11, a sliding piece 23 which slides the resistor 12 and current collector 13 for conduction between them, and an operational member 19 which, supported with the frame 2 for free sliding, allows the sliding piece 28 to slide on the resistor 12 and current collector 13, are provided to a potentiometer 1, and a circuit board 38 where a ground conductor pattern 42 is formed is provided. Here, the potentiometer 1 is fitted with a conductive member 30 for flowing static electricity, and a part 33 of the conductive member 30 is made conductive to, or placed close to, the ground conductor pattern 42 while the potentiometer 1 is supported on the circuit board 38.
