PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable resistor wherein a flux is prevented from entering the inside of a variable resistor for a stable output voltage. SOLUTION: A coat 26 of fluorine polymer containing a polyfluoroalkyl group is provided at a gap adjacent to the gap between a case 24 and an operational part 27, at the case 24 and operational part 27. Thus, a flux is prevented from entering the inside of a variable resistor, providing a stable output voltage at all times.
