PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a device and simplify an entire shape by providing a condensation lens part consisting of a plurality of concentric divided spherical surfaces at the outer surface part of the light passage part of a package for transmitting the incidence/emission light of a light-emitting device. SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 1, a photo detector 2, and a peripheral circuit are subjected to mold sealing into a package 3 made of plastic integrally. The light-emitting device 1 and the photo detector 2 are used for transmitting and receiving signals, respectively. Then, a light passage 4 for passing light emitted from the light-emitting device 1 and light entering the light-emitting device is formed at the package 3, and at the same time the light passage 4 and a condensation lens 5 are formed in one piece with the package 3. Then, the condensation lens 5 is formed at the outer surface of the light passage 4. The condensation lens 5 (diameter ranges from 2 to 4 mm) consists of 5 to 15 concentric divided spherical surfaces 5a, thus miniaturizing a device and simplifying an entire shape and also eliminating the need for a taping material with a complex shape. |
