PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide type optical switch in a small size with a small number of switches in which the optical path is switched by using optical deflection. SOLUTION: This optical switch is produced by laminating an optical waveguide layer 3 on a substrate 1 as a lower electrode. The optical waveguide formed in the optical waveguide layer 3 includes collimator lenses 9 to collimate the laser light entering from the entering part 12, prism-type upper electrodes 5 to deflect the collimated laser light by applying voltage between the electrodes 5 and lower electrodes 3 and a condensing lens 10 to condense the deflected laser light by the prism-type upper electrodes 5 onto an emitting part 14.
