PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the storage capacity for figure data by storing component numbers for sharing illustrations of components among different kind of vehicles while relating them to the figure data. SOLUTION: When a specific position in an entire automobile illustration is specified, corresponding illustration layout data (C) in a figure database 15 are retrieved on the basis of the position and an automobile type inputted as an estimation condition. The obtained layout data (C) are temporarily stored in a system memory 11, retrieval from a number component conversion table (B) is performed as to a component number in the data to decide whether or not the same component number is registered, and when so, a record including the component number is taken out. Component figure data (A) in the figure database 15 is extracted by using the reference type and reference component number in the record. According to the figure data in the extracted component figure data (A), the illustration of the component is drawn in a display image storage area on the system memory 11. |
