PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the wrinkling of an emission-side sheet and eliminate, luminance unevenness. SOLUTION: A first diffusion sheet 5, a prism sheet 4, a polarizing film 3, and a second diffusion sheet 2 are overlapped on the upper side of a light guide plate 6, and a reflecting sheet 7 is overlapped on the lower side of the light guide plate 6. Linear light sources 8 and 9 are arranged opposite to each other on both side edges of the light guide plate 6. A frame lid 1 has protruding parts 30 and 30 on frame edges 1a and 1b closer to the linear light sources 8 and 9 on the surface opposed to the second diffusion sheet 2. The protruding part 30 is formed in a staircase shape thickened in the center and symmetrically thinned toward both sides. The protruding part 3 indirectly presses the edge of the polarizing film 3 to suppress the thickness directional thermal expansion. |
