<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing instrument capable of the cursor movement control of a computer screen and to be used for the character input of a computer. SOLUTION: An instrument 1 is provided with a write end 16 to which a rotatable ball 15 is attached. Further, this instrument is provided with a pen rod 10 to be grasped with a hand for moving the ball 15 on a writing plane, a first encode part 2 for encoding the movement of the pen rod 10 in X-axis direction and generating an X-axis driving signal, a second encode part 2' for encoding the movement of the pen rod 10 in Y-axis direction and generating a Y-axis driving signal and radio communication equipment 3 electrically connected with the first and second encode parts 2 and 2' for receiving X-axis and Y-axis driving signals and communicating with the computer.</p> |
