PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the cycle time relating to the production of a recording medium by making it possible to drastically shorten the drying time by natural drying without the occurrence of reformation, etc., of liquid. SOLUTION: The spinner head device for applying a dyestuff solution onto a substrate of an optical disk is constituted by concentrically arranging a multiplicity of permanent magnets 448 to the rear surface (the surface on the side opposite to the surface on which the substrate of the optical disk is placed) of a table 44b installed to the sinner head device in such a manner that their respective magnetic poles are alternated with each other. As a result, the drying time by natural drying may be drastically shortened without the occurrence of the reformation, etc., of the liquid and the cycle time relating to the production of the recording medium may be shortened.
