PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the programmable controller which speeds up instructions for the addresses of an input unit and an output unit and increases the instruction execution speed of the whole object program. SOLUTION: An input data memory 5 and an output data memory 6 where data are temporarily stored are provided between the input unit 3 and an arithmetic process part 2, and between the output unit 4 and arithmetic process part 2, and the arithmetic process part 2 executes the object program fast by using the data stored in the input data memory 5, outputs the data of the execution result to the output data memory 6, and transfers the data between the input data memory 5 and input unit 3, and output data memory 6 and output unit 4 asynchronously with the arithmetic process part 2 by logic 14 dedicated to the data transfer.
