PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a positive electrification type electrophotographic photoreceptor for a high-speed copying machine and a printer by incorporating at least one specified electron transferring compound as an electric charge transferring material into a photosensitive layer. SOLUTION: A photosensitive layer containing an electric charge generating material and an electric charge transferring material is disposed on an electrically conductive substrate to obtain the objective electrophotographic photoreceptor. At least one electron transferring compound of the formula is contained as the electric charge transferring material in the photosensitive layer. In the formula, R1-R3 are each a halogen, 1-8C alkyl or alkoxy which may have a substituent, arylalkyl, aryl which may have a substituent or a residue for formula a ring, A1 is oxygen or =CR4R5(R4 and R5 may be mutually the same or different and are each cyano or alkoxycarbonyl), in the case of k>=2, two or more symbols R1 may be mutually the same or different, in the case of m>=2, two or more symbols R2 may be mutually the same or different, and in the case of n>=2, two or more symbols R3 may be mutually the same or different.
