PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for making to a sphere a sewage sludge incineration ash wherein spherical powder slug of an elution amount of 0.01 mg/l or less is easily obtained from sewage sludge incineration ash containing arsenic of an elution amount of 0.1 mg/l or more. SOLUTION: After slaked lime is added to and mixed with sewage sludge incineration ash containing arsenic of an elution amount of 0.1 mg/l or more by 1 to 5 wt.%, the mixture is injected from a burner 7 disposed in a melting furnace 4 together with a part of combustion air, and the injected mixture is melted in a floating state with a combustion flame of the burner 7 and then cooled in the floating state into a spherical powder slag.
