PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte type fuel cell capable of enhancing power generating performance by enhancing gas diffusivity of an air electrode tube and electron conductivity of the air electrode tube. SOLUTION: This solid electrolyte type fuel cell comprises: an inter-connector 2 at a portion in a circumferential direction and a cylindrical electrolyte layer 3 at the other portion around an air electrode tube 1 as a structure supporter made of a porous material and formed into a cylindrical shape; and a cylindrical fuel electrode 4 around the electrolyte layer 3. A plurality of oxygen-containing gas introducing passages 8 for supplying oxygen-containing gas in a direction of the length of a cylinder are juxtaposed with intervals along the circumferential direction of the air electrode tube 1 at the intermediate portion in a radial direction of the air electrode tube 1.
