PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electron-optical module capable of accurately locating and forming a functional surface provided on the electron-optical module relatively easily from the viewpoint of manufacturing technology. SOLUTION: A module casing 1 having an opening 2 for inserting a support member 3 and a coupling region for a coupling partner is used as a casing mold. A casing member 8 is located inside the coupling region. The member 8 is formed such that its inner surface corresponds to the outside contour of a functional surface 10. A molded body is prepared by filling the casing 1 with a moldable material.
