PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter capable of dealing with/following up all an initial setting error, a temperature change, a state change at the time of power source on and a power supply voltage fluctuation and stably and continuously suppressing carrier leak without requiring operation which is complicated and requires long time as a result. SOLUTION: Just before transmission or at the interval of transmission, the training of offset control circuits 16 and 18 is executed. First of all, in the state of turning off the power source of an amplifier 22, the output of a quadrature detector 24 is fetched. An offset control quantity in the state of outputting a non-modulated signal from a quadrature modulator 20 is changed in the manner of try, and the result closest to the output of the quadrature detector 24 with no input to the quadrature detector 24 is selected and determined as the offset control quantity. |
