<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move an item between displayed windows by transferring the item from one displayed window to another displayed window through a graphical user interface. SOLUTION: To move a file 2 to one of folders in a tree view window 102, the file 2 is selected by operating a mouse or using up/down arrow keys, a tab key, or accelerator key. On this selection, a pop-up menu window 106 is displayed. After an 'add' command is selected, a cascade pop-up menu 108 is displayed and transfer destination candidates of the file 2 are listed up. Then once one of folders is selected, the file 2 is related to the selected folder and its image moves to a tree view window 102 under the selected folder.</p> |
