<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cutting of a flange part when a retainer is pressed in, in a flexible pipe coupling provided with a coupling main body, a fastening cylinder screwed in the coupling main body, and a retainer having a flange part engaged with an engaging protrusion part in the coupling main body, and is constituted such that along with screw-in of the fastening cylinder, and as a result of the retainer being pressed by the fastening cylinder, the retainer is pressed in a retainer container in the coupling main body and fitted in external to a bellows pipe. SOLUTION: The downstream end face of a fastening cylinder 2 comprises an annular end face 28 on the inner peripheral side, and an end face 25 for press positioned on the upstream side and on the inner peripheral side. The upstream end face of a retainer 3 comprises an annular end face 30 on which thin tickness sections 31 are arrayed, and an annular pressure receiving end face 35 continued on the downstream side on the outer peripheral side to the surface on the upstream side of a flange part 34. When the fastening cylinder 2 is fastened, the end face 25 presses the fastening cylinder 2 so as to press against the pressure receiving end face 35 of the retainer 3.</p> |
