PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and speedily customize and expand a CPU system by retrieving a selected software component module from a library storage medium and installing the retrieval result in a storage device of the CPU system as a target. SOLUTION: The CPU system as the target is actuated by a startup program from a startup storage medium 110. Further, a user interface program from a library storage medium 120 is executed to retrieve a selected software component module from the library storage medium 120. The selected software component module is installed in the storage device of the CPU system as the target. A configuration computer platform 100 fetches the library storage medium 120 and generates a startup storage medium by using a program from the library storage medium 120.
