PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely exhibit check function by checking the leakage of pressure fluid between a valve element and a seating part. SOLUTION: This check valve is provided with a body 14, where a first pressure fluid inlet/outlet port 18 and a second pressure fluid inlet/outlet port 22 are formed at approximately cylindrically formed one end thereof and the other end, respectively, and a valve element 26 which is placed, so as to be freely displaced in a hole part 12 penetrating through the body 14 and which seats on a seating part under action of the elastic force of a spring member 24. The seating part consists of a first taper surface 38 or a second taper surface 48 having inclination from the inside diameter toward the outside diameter.
