The invention relates to a sterilising container for medical purposes, comprising a tub-shaped bottom part and a lid which can be placed tightly on said bottom part by inserting an elastically deformable ring seal between them. Said ring seal is fixed on one of the two parts to be sealed in a sealing position in relation thereto. The aim of the invention is to provide a means of checking the seal. To this end, the ring seal has an evacuable hollow space extending over its entire length. Said hollow space is open to the other part respectively and is delimited by two peripheral sealing lips which can be sealingly applied to the other part respectively. |
