The filter comprises two composite panels (40A,B). Each panel has an outer coarse mesh layer (60) with non woven filtration layers (70) enclosing a layer of finer melt blown filaments (80). The graduated pore size results in large particles being filtered by layer (70) and fine particles by layer (80). The outer mesh provides a stable cover. A mounting fitting is attached to one of the panels.
