PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the serration joint part of a pedal boss part formed by casting to have high torsional strength reliability without generating any tensile residual stress due to a difference in shrinkage ratio at the serration joint part. SOLUTION: This pedal device is constituted by engraving serration 13aa for stopping a pedal 12 and a lock drum 13 from rotating at the small-diameter part 13a of the cylindrical lock drum 13 with a hollow stage which is composed of a large-diameter part 13b and the small-diameter part 13a and joining the pedal boss part 12 with the outer peripheral surface 13bb of the large-diameter part and the serration 13aa of the small-diameter part by casting.
