PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for processing a printing plate material in which the printing plate material capable of exposure with IR laser can be washed after development without forming a deposit on the surface of the printing plate material. SOLUTION: The apparatus 10 for processing a photosensitive planographic printing plate material 12 which is made alkali-soluble by IR laser light has a developing part 18 in which the printing plate material 12 is developed by supplying a developer to the printing plate material 12, a weighing means 40 which weighs the developer sticking to the surface of the printing plate material 12 conveyed from the developing part 18 and leaves a prescribed amount of the developer on the surface of the printing plate material 12 and a washing part 24 in which the remaining developer on the surface of the printing plate material 12 conveyed from the weighing means 40 is washed off. |
