PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image processor for shortening the time for processing color image by making the image processor efficiently output written data according to image forming conditions when the image processor writes color image data from a scanner and memory on a photoreceptor and outputs them as color image data. SOLUTION: At the same time as image writing of RGB image data of an original read by a scanner part 1, a data bus control part 2 controls input operation to memory (DRAM 5m-7m), pre-scanning operation, and output operation of image writing of the data taken into the memory. When the timing for image writing to be initialized based on the use condition is larger than a reference value, the operation is shifted to the pre-scanning, and all the image formation of the 2nd sheet and hereafter are also written in its early timing by using only the data from the memory to perform efficient image formation.
