摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the travels of robots by allowing the robots to travel and move in a field while finding their absolute positions and absolute directions through operation during their travels and then informing a management part such as a center of their positions. SOLUTION: Radio communication means (1) to (3) are arranged at different places in the field where the autonomous travel robots E to G move and they are connected to a monitor and control means A of the center. The autonomous travel robots E to G, on the other hand, have a function of detecting absolute coordinates and a function of sending their absolute coordinate data. The robots E to G detect their absolute coordinates before starting moving and detect their relative distances and relative angles to detect their relative coordinates while moving. The current absolute coordinates of the robots are calculated from the absolute coordinate data detected before they start moving and the relative coordinate data which are detected thereafter and transmitted to the monitor and control means A through radio communication means (1) to (3).
