PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner specifying a deflection surface of a rotary polygon mirror without providing an exclusive detector and performing optimum correction. SOLUTION: This optical scanner is constituted so that the number of pulses per polygon mirror one revolution of a scan position detection signal detected by an SOS sensor 56 and the number of pulses per polygon mirror one revolution of a rotational speed detection signal detected by an FG pattern (comb wiring pattern) 60 become a prime each other. Then, the deflection surface position of the polygon mirror is specified from respective pulse signals synchronized with each other once per one revolution. |
