PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized array waveguide diffraction circuit which can multiplex muti-wavelength signal light of two wavelength bands, and can be easily manufactured. SOLUTION: This diffraction grating part is constructed by forming on a substrate 11 a first input/output channel waveguide 12, a first slab waveguide 13 connected to the first input/output channel waveguide 12, a first array waveguide part 14 which is connected to the first slab waveguide 13 and is formed by M1 channel waveguides 141-14M1 different in optical path length, a second array waveguide part 15 which is connected to the first slab waveguide path 13 and is formed by M2 channel waveguides 151-15M2 different in optical path length, a second slab waveguide 16 connected to the array waveguide parts 14 and 15, N1 second input/output channel waveguides 171-17N1 connected to the second slab waveguide 16, and N2 third input/output channel waveguides 181-18N2 connected to the second slab waveguide 16. |
