PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a portable terminal capable of registering a security password to prevent an undesirable case where the portable terminal is left behind its user and the user's registered information may be stolen by another person and then quickly use the terminal by the user when it is returned to the user. SOLUTION: This radio portable terminal is provided with an off-memory 5-b which stores the time when a power supply is switched off, an on-memory 5-a which stores the time when the power supply is switched on, a difference memory 5-c which stores the difference between the switch-off and switch-on times of the power supply, a user data register memory 4 and a portable device control part 3. The part 3 receives an inputted password at a prescribed time set for the store value of the memory 5-c and erases the contents of the memory 4. |
