PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the fitting of a wire to an end part of a pedal by fitting one end of the outer member of the wire to a bracket fitted to a vehicle body and fitting the pedal, which draws one end of the wire, thereto in a swingable state. SOLUTION: A wire end member 66 is fitted to the upper-end part 52 of the accelerator pedal 41. The engine-side end part 44a of a cable 44 is run through a sealing member 58 fitted to a dashboard 32 and sent out to an engine room side. The assembly of the bracket 36, a pedal support member 37, and the accelerator pedal 41 is moved to the beam 33 of the dashboard 32 and fitted to the beam 33 with a bolt 34 and a nut 35. The outer end member of the outer member 45 can be fitted previously to the bracket 36 and the wire end member 66 of the wire 44 can be fitted to the accelerator pedal 41, so the operation can easily be done not in a narrow place, e.g. below a cowl panel, but a wide place, e.g. outside the vehicle. |
