FEEDER LINE COMPOSITE TYPE OPTICAL FIBER CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insure power supply for installation work of an outdoor optical network terminal end device and easily connect to the power supply by longitudinally attaching a feeder line on the outside of the optical units of an assembling drop optical fiber cable stranded with the optical units around supporting wires, and winding a lashing wire to fix them. SOLUTION: A feeder line composite type optical fiber cable C is constituted so that a feeder line 4 is longitudinally attached to the outer circumference of an assembling drop optical fiber cable which is stranded with eight optical units 2 around supporting wires 1, and a lashing wire 5 is wound to fix them. Consequently, without loosening strand of the optical units 2 to be separated, deformation and loosening of the cable C following expansion/contraction between the feeder line 4 and the optical units 2 can be avoided. The two conductive wires 3, 3 of the feeder line 4 are connected to a commercial power supply, and hence the power supply can be insured regardless of the condition of the installed place of an optical network terminal end device. Hereby the cost of the installation work and branching work can be reduced inexpensively by the simple construction.
