PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a high-contrast image and to attain a low reflection factor against external light, high luminescence intensity and good luminescent color quality by providing a color pigment constituted of a red phosphor and an oxide-nitride with a specific composition. SOLUTION: This color display screen is provided with a red phosphor and one of inorganic pigments expressed by formulas I-IX. The screen can accurately adapt the absorption characteristics of picture elements to the light emission spectrum of the phosphor by means of the mixed crystal characteristics of the oxide-nitride pigment, where A=Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Zn; A'=Ln, Bi, Al, Fe; A"=Ln, Bi; B=V, Nb, Ta, Mo, W; B'=Ti, Zr, Hf, Sn, Ge, Si, Nb; C=Mg, Ca, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Zn; C', D=Al, Ga, In, Ti, V, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni; D'=Ti, Zr, Hf, Sn, Ge, Si, Nb, Ta; O<x<1, 0<y<2, 0<m<2, 0<n<2.
